The Prophets and Messengers of God have been sent from time to time to manifest themselves in the world with a messege of the supreme power .When the world becomes full of sins and the morality of mankind is endangered and there is a lot of violence then the lord manifests himself in different forms to rescue and save the world.
Lord Krishna had also said the same thing to Arjuna in the battlefield of Mahabharata:
"Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya
Glanirva Bhavathi Bharatha,
Abhyuthanam Adharmaysya
Tadatmanam Srijami Aham`.
"Whenever there is decay
of righteousness O! Bharatha
And a rise of unrighteousness
then I manifest Myself!"
Generally it is believed that the Prophets are one and the same and they come to this world to do the work that has been assigned to them by the God. They work in absolute tandem and one carries forward the work that has been left by the other. God wants his men to live in happiness, peace and truthfulness. These messengers of God come and try to reestablish these virtues back into the world which keeps deminishing with passing times.
Jesus said that he was the Son of God and was sent with the task of rendering peace and well being to man kind. He taught that everyone should feed the hungry and offer drinks to the thirsty and clothe the naked. He taught brotherhood and kindness. He asked his people to selflessly serve the fellow beings that in itself would mean that the God is served.
Muhammad was a great Prophet of Allah and he had come with the message of Allah to preach a new religion called Islam where Allah will be the only God and Muhammad his prophet.
Siddhartha was born in Lumbini,now in Nepal, in 624 BC and he later became the Buddha. He was the founder of the Buddhism religion. His mother`s name was Queen Mayadevi and his father`s name was King Shuddhodana.
